INSIDE
Fully renovated throughout, Broomriggs 5 has 2 bedrooms, with superking zip and link beds in each, a fully equipped kitchen, and a snuggly velvet sofa for you to rest your legs after a day's exploring.

OUTSIDE
The list is actually endless, but here's a few of our favourites ....
Hawkshead
A 20 min walk (or a 10 min run - i've tried!) downhill to the village, famous for its Wordsworth connections.
Hill Top

A short walk or drive to Beatrix Potter's home - and neighbouring pub, owned by the National Trust.
Moss Eccles Tarn
A short walk out through the back of Broomriggs takes you to this beautiful tarn - perfect for a spot of wild swimming.
High speed thrills

Grizedale Forest is just a 10 min drive away - hire bikes and explore the mountain biking trails or test your head for heights at Go Ape!
Gentler pursuits

Broomriggs is set on the quieter side of the lakes, so it's perfect to go for a stroll, for a coffee in The Bluebird Café in Coniston, or to take a rowing boat out on Esthwaite Water.
The Old Man of Coniston
You can see the Old Man of Coniston from Broomriggs 5. And, on a clear day, you can see Broomriggs from the top of the Old Man of Coniston!
